Tenants of Wells Fargo Plaza get to experience a bit of nature each Spring. Wells Fargo Plaza is home to a Peregrine Falcon nest located on the 23rd floor roof. The adult falcons arrive in the spring to claim the nest and shortly there after lay their eggs. The young falcons hatch in May and can be seen testing their wings in June. They leave the site mid summer after they have honed their flying and hunting skills. Wells Fargo Plaza works in close conjunction with the Peregrine Falcon Society and the Raptor Center each year to ensure a successful hatch. Tenants participate in the banding of the birds and pick the names of the young falcons.
